G'day from Muscat.

Jacob has kindly volunteered to print these photos and bring to the cabin; hoping that you may enjoy sharing them with friends and family at Gilmore Bay. They represent shots taken from mainly Muscat area, Bahrain and some family shots too.

We are experiencing a very mild summer so far; and have had rain again last week. We will go walking today; then down to the pool at the Marina for a swim; and take the car out for a spin with Sj at the wheel.

Work is very hectic and busy; and Sj is working hard in her studio on a couple of new projects. She keeps busy most days and maintains a rigorous exercise program; much to my chagrin!

Our house will be upside down beginning tomorrow as a workmate joins us with his family from Adelaide; including two small kids. He has decided to bring them to Muscat to live for a year so they too can experience the culture here. We have offered out place as a base while they get set up.

We continue to enjoy entertaining; served dinner to 14 bachelor friends last night; complete with home made bread and beans; plus some New Zealand strip loin done on the Weber. They think I am mad by continuing to use charcoal, but the results speak for themselves. I over estimated again, so looks like cold beef for the rest of the week...what punishment.

We have also been experimenting with BBQ fresh tuna; now that is a treat!

Well, enjoy your summer, and we hope that at least one of the photos can make it on to the fridge door along with other talented artists.

A-KOONAH-MAH-TAHTAH ( African saying, wishing you all things good, used in Lion King...)
