I saw the "Little River Band", and being from Australia and seeing them for the first time in Tulsa Oaklahoma, was a little weird....
Most of the the other people were older, and I felt a little out of place. They were a little skanky, but generally all the people there were having a good time.
The age of the hall, must have been around 1000 years. The walls were covered with portraits of long dead country stars.
This must be the kind of place that gave birth to country. Dad would have loved it. Or not.
I found myself not listening to the music, or watching middle aged women in fringe jackets snogging, and instead reflecting on what has happened to me in the last 2 years. Here I am in Tulsa. Ask me 2 years ago if I would have ever been in Tulsa, go on. I dare you.
Ahh, home sickness. "Man, I really want to go home, I wonder where that is exactly."
