I got a sore back

So I hurt my back. Probably when driving No big deal right?
Just go to a physiotherapist and get some
massage and heat treatment, right? Yeah, sure, if you're in first world country
(Canada, Australia, USA, UK) but not if your in Venezuela. In Venezuela, you have
to first find a physio.
So I did, and I went. She knew what she was doing, she found the problem (spasm muscle)
and prescribed 8 theorpy sessions.
Ok. Hang on, 8!!??
So I they were going to send me home right away, and I said "no way, I'm in pain", and they
said, "ok, we'll do some".
So shirt off, lie down and some electrotherapy. In Australia, this meant someone putting
some electronic pads on the area of the body, then checked the results of the
machine. And checked now and then to see if was still doing the right thing.
This did not happen here.
And another thing, after the electro- they did some ultra-sound. Now, I've had this before
and I remember it getting warm. This did not happen here.
And they sent me home. No massage, nothing. I was still in pain here. They said "we're not
going to massage because the muscles are tense, and we will do it tommorrow". Um what? By the
time I get back here tomorrow, they will be even more tense because I will be uncomfortable all
night!
So I went home and returned yesterday. This time, the electro-therapy definately was in the wrong
area, and the person administrating the utlra-sound wasn't even looking. The "massage" lasted for
28 seconds. I timed it. It was useless. I didn't go back. I emptied a few bottles of muscle
relaxant and pain killers.
It went away eventually.
