La Salina - Center for PDVSA Automation

This is La Salina, Edificio Principal de PDVSA. (Main PDVSA building). This is where I work on the SCADA system.

Just out of the picture on the right is the front guard shack. He guards the parking lot from the front. Security is pretty tight. To get in you need to ... um ... wave at him. Seriously.

Continue around the back of the building and you get to the back guard shack, which has big fences and a guy ther 24 hours a day. Ok, so the guy at the front guard shack goes home at 5pm, and lowers the boom gate, so you cant drive in that way. You can walk in though. Just duck under the boom gate and you are in the parking lot.

So you cant drive in that way. So you drive around back and convice the guard to let you in. Either way it is really easy to get yourself into the parking lot. Once there, you just walk in the back door. Easy as that.

Of course, you cant get in the front door, its locked up tight.

Crazy.
